Lucky was a sweet, wonderful old guy. We got him at Shipshewana (spelled right?) he was so thin, the saddle was held on by a piece of binder twine, but he was such a sweetie, the bidding got down to 100 before we even bid. He lived for about ten or so years, his registered name was Shades of Tough, but he was so lucky we got him, it was logical to name him Lucky. Unfortunately he had to be put down from a severe, lasting case of Colic. He died the first saturday of November in 2004, the saturday after my birthday................
