both can run at the same time? my RTS is planned to be a thing that just runs random battles non in specific so yeah technically it could run forever. so yeah I'll rename this thread (if i can, i don't know) and organize a match, it would be nice having an RPG running as well just in case more people come along and want to do the RPG and not the RTS. this game is designed so that for example Ry and Aft can have a game while PoR and Avid start another type thing, so yeah there is not much point stopping other games for this one. gives people options.

=\ idk if two up should be up, since the server is drasticly low on members, OOOHHH that reminds me, Avid, u need to delete member accounts =/ those that have been gone for a LONG time need to be deleted.

well my game isn't going to clash much with the RPG, RPG is probably more fun for some people. it would be good to leave it open just in case alot of people come on and go "i don't really like the look of the RTS but the RPG looks fun!!" ad if they can't play the RPG cause of the RTS that wouldn't be any good.

i want to start one up with Talrasha so that i can start testing it, others are welcome to join in the battle if they want but once the game starts no one can join the Battle they will have to start a new one with others. (this offer will be up for a while to give people a chance to join us)

so yeah only really anticipating one battle up at the moment (due to the amount of interest in this post lol) you seem to be the only one interested Ry lol.

if u read my turn, here it is,

I think you should be able to purchase a vehicle that can clam other squares that are UNCONTROLED. The vehicle moves 1 square as if a inf, and isnt made at a tank fact, but at a HQ, the HQ can spawn this builder for maybe $50, the most expensive unit, and has little to no defeneve capability, and low armor, once u command it to take over the square, the opposing player has 2 turns to kill it, IE-on turn 6 u tell the builder to build, on turn 7, he starts, on turn 8, he is almost done, on turn 9, the square is yours, it doesnt start with a unit.

If an enemy goes into your square, killing all buildings and units, they claim it.

sounds like a good idea but it looks like it will make the game a lot longer, it being a builder unit would also suggest that it builds the structures.

i reckon any solider type can move onto a land and say "this land now belongs to the UNSC/Covenant" but your idea for a builder could be used for actually building new buildings (still one per square) instead of them just appearing?

hows that sound?

uh, as described in the RPG section, it could be called sumthin else, but, every where where a soldier goes he claims the land FOREVER till its conquered? if so=gay
they should only claim it while onit, but cant build on it till a builder/other gets on it and 'paves' it over for construction

ok well that sounds like it'll work. we'll change it after turn 3 or something. (gives me and Talrasha some time to occupy the lands we just left vacant)

and we'll add the builder rule in after turn 3 as well. so on turn 4 these two rules will take effect. I'm not going to both having the PM system in it as i will not always be around to moderate the game and look at PM's and stuff (I'll still have to do the battles though).

actually why don't we just end the test, make the changes and start again with the changes. Its all to messy at the moment (and with Talrasha not here makes it harder)

ok I'm starting to make changes now. I'm going to have to Kick Talrasha out of the game for now as well. so yeah. If we can get another person in to play that would be nice. I'll post here again when i've finished making the changes.

firstly i need your Ry (others are welcome too) is there anything else that should be mentioned in peoples posts like should money be mentioned like the start and finish amounts each turn? or should i leave that for the players to keep track of?
i think i have to add a bit about purchasing to it. anything else i missed?

Also for the builder type units hows these names sound? Engineers for the humans and Huragok for the covenant? i've thought of stats and their costs are $50

i also found that in the old rules even you HAVE to have all your places connected, so yeah did you want that changed to don't have to be connected Ry its ok by me either way

i have made changes to the assualt rules and added information about defences. (in the first post, that is where all changes are made)

(i'll try to remember to make notices when i change stuff, this game has had several large changes thanks mainly to Ryknow whos helped me think of alot of things for the game. )
